The numbers don’t lie. Over 100,000,000 people in North America don’t want to get up for work. It’s not necessarily that they don’t like their jobs; it’s just more likely that they’re not a good fit.

This eye-opening statistic became known to Jamie Schneiderman, Harvard grad and founder and CEO of Clearfit Inc., during his own personal search for workplace fulfillment. And it soon became the motivation behind the launch of Clearfit, a predictive analytics platform that provides insight to help reveal successful employer/employee relationships.

Schneiderman founded Clearfit in 2006 to “to help create a world with happy employees and more productive organizations,” and the funding received from FedDev Ontario’s Investing in Business Innovation initiative is supporting his mission.

Using predictive science to identify critical traits, Clearfit technology has provided more than 4,000 clients with the tools to make better decisions and to place the right people in the right jobs.

Like many start-ups, Schneiderman says Clearfit faced “challenging times,” but FedDev Ontario support helped the company survive by providing the resources to hire people of their own.

Today, Clearfit is thriving and changing the world of employment, one job at a time. According to Schneiderman, they are just getting started.
